I’m a 35 year old Dutch Graphic Sportswear Designer with a passion for football, streetwear and pop culture. Mashing this together to create innovative apparel designs for sport brands and football clubs. Launching ‘Kits by Samu’ as a big creative project in 2020.

Collaborations between football clubs and fashion brands have proven streetwear in football is here to stay. Where big clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Barcelona recorded huge sales over the last years, other clubs begin to follow. Rolling out their own collections of lifestyle clothing. 

I find it very interesting to be a part of this, designing football apparel based on subtle patterns, textures and graphics. My goal is to create something new, keeping up with relevant lifestyle trends, but without disowning traditions and culture.

Currently I’m helping agencies, start-ups, merchandisers, sport brands and of course football clubs in stepping up their game when it comes to football and fashion. I don’t just design kit concepts and sportswear, I can also help across the board with branding, identity and digital design.
